Even though I am actually "Grandma" to two 14 week old Pekins.

My son is "Daddy" to Chuck and Buck, who really have no idea that they're actually ducks. They're spoiled rotten babies who live indoors, although spend most of their day outside digging mudholes, eating bugs, soaking up the sun, and waiting for the next person walking down the street to come pet them.

My son has wanted ducks since he was nicknamed Superduck when he was 5. He's now 11 and got two babies for Christmas. They are, in fact, his best friends. They do everything together. My son is a swimmer and is excited to start taking the boys to swim with him at the lake while he's training. Chuck and Buck are town celebrities. LOL Actually, they just got their first professional headshots for an upcoming project. Yes, we are pathetic and we know it.

Not knowing much about ducks when we decided he was old enough to take care of them, we did a ton of research and every Google search lead to here. I'm finally registering and hope to learn more every day. Our entire family loves the boys and even though they are messy as all get out, we wouldn't have it any other way. They are definitely a part of our family. Hope to get to know some of you so we can share our fun adventures with Chuck and Buck!

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out. There are some down the bottom of the page which are duck specific.

I see you found the Duck Forum :clap

That is a beautiful picture! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of Chuck and Buck, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
