Well, what was supposed to be 3-5" ended up closer to 8-12" (deeper where it drifted)! The wind was pretty wicked. This was my view when I got up to let them out for the day:
The wind had been so bad the evening before, the ducks actually asked to go in the coop overnight (they sat at the door till I opened it for them!).
So, I shoveled a path and shoveled out the pen and ramp. What a riot. They didn't venture out much yesterday. Even the goose sat in his box most of the day.
Today, it was much calmer...they decided to wander out and see what the fuss was all about. Frank (the goose) was even taking a snow bath (which was a riot to watch).
