My ladies are awesome!

    My white leghorn has been so happy since winter has arrived! she has been laying daily and on our coldest eveing when it got down to 1* F (no supplimental heat) , she layed a double yolker! she runs around in the snow and is the first hen up each morning and the last back in the coop at night.

    My Dark Cornish has also been a faithful layer depite the weather [​IMG]

    Brahma and Australorp are going through a molt.

    Just wanted to post how proud I am of my girls toughing out this first winter already, proving yet again that Chickens are the best!!! [​IMG]

    Congrats! Mine are wimps and stopped laying at the 1st hint of (un-freezing, above zero) Australian winter...[​IMG]

    my girls also have continued laying in freezing temperatures, here in england we had our first lot of snow this week and my girls looked out of the coop door and then just carried on as usual, bless their little hearts,
