My ladies are so fierce

Yay Sophia! She's beautiful. I've got a cochin. Red, I think. She's 5 weeks old and her name is Anne. And I'm saying she, but I don't know for sure yet. She's absolutely the sweetest thing. I think 2 of my newest chicks are cochins too. But I'm unsure what color. They're a week or so old.
Can I see photos of the others I think you might have brahmas but I'm not sure

Yea the first week or 2 was awful. I'm only 17 and I was never interested in chickens until this time around and bunny wasy baby she may have grown up to 20 weeks but in my eyes she was still a baby and my best friend.
Well, I'm 40, and I would love to tell you that it gets easier to cope with these things as you get older. But in my experience, it has not. We lost 3 feral kittens a few months ago, born prematurely. I say "we" but the feral cats aren't even our pets, she just had them on our property. I tried so hard, but they were just too little. It broke my heart. And as a mom, it is even harder to see my kids hurting from these losses.

These 2 actually looked similar to some of the bantam brahmas on Hoover's ID My Chick page. So I'm really not sure about them yet.

Yea my mom walked in the coop after I buried bunny and she asked what I was doing in the coop and I tried to tell her that bunny died but I broke down into tears halfway through the sentence. Glad mom was there to comfort me I just sat their hugging her for a while. But eventually It got better I still miss bunny but I still have the memories of her and the videos. Watching her videos makes me feel bittersweet in a way.

Sometimes, Mom's hugs are the best thing you can have. Bunny was absolutely gorgeous! I'm glad you have so many good memories.
