(Sooooo jealous of your new land) If you haven't already, you definately need to get this book: "The Self-Sufficient Life and How to Live It" by John Seymoure.

I'm stuck in So Cal with dreams of having a place like yours someday! And as for the chickens... you've definately come to the right place

welcome to BYC!! good to have you!! There's lots of great plans on the coop pages...check them out. We got a 10x12 shed that we refigured into a coop. Worked out great. With all that land, man, you are going to quite busy.
