I hope you all are not getting sick of my goat pics, they are all that's on my brain these days.

This is the last doe I'm waiting to kid this year, she's due anytime after April 1st (she was w/ the buck for 30 days).

She had an ultrasound done because at one time I was feeling pretty iffy that she was bred, we saw one little peanut of a baby! We weren't sure about anymore because her bladder was in the way. I assumed that would be it, she just wasn't that big, and being a FF it wasn't unlikely, well she's gotten much bigger since them so we'll see I guess!

Anyway I took a few pics of her yesterday while we milked and fed the babies, she's my unfriendly doe so she was moving away from me. I'm hoping to retain a doeling or two, one of these and I'd like to breed her to my newest buck next year and possibly keep one of them to. I may sell her after that, she's such a lovely girl, but she's just not that friendly. I put her on the milk stand today she really hated that, but I guess she'll have to get use to it. And soon, she'll be getting a shave within the next few days, I know she's going to love that!

Anyway, here's Dixie! How many do you think? I'm thinking twins!

There's never too many goat pictures! I love her coloring and can't wait to see the babies. I think one might have been hiding too.

I'm glad I'm not boring you all with the pics, I do love showing them off!

She could suprise me and have one big single, but I do think there was another little peanut hiding behind the bladder! I'm excited to see them!

Dixie is one of my flashiest does, and such a pretty color! The buck she was bred to wasn't all that flashy, but I'm very happy w/ the kids my other doe had by him, I don't have him anymore and only bred to the two does to him, so I'm really hoping for a keeper!

Part of me is so excited to have it over with, but the other part is alittle sad that it'll be over! Although I do miss sleep!

I guess after this I'll start obsessing over my pregnant miniature horse!! So get ready!!

That's okay, my girls aren't due till the end of June and that's all I think about

She is gorgeous! I vote beautiful twin girls. Ya know, my doe was like that too, all standoffish, until she got pregnant! She was all up in our faces and everything. But I guess it was just the hormones cause after the babies were born, they were in our faces, but she stood back lookingn worried.

I think there is a small chance she may settle down after she kids, but I've had her since she was 10 or 12 weeks old and she's now 2 and still not very friendly, so we'll see. I like everything else about her! Just wish she was friendlier.

And I'd be very happy w/ twin does!! I'm afraid it will end up being twin bucks just to even things up, I was 50/50 until the last doe kidded w/ twin does.

She must have heard me talking about her, the last few days she's been hanging out w/ me alittle. Even stood still when I checked her ligs (most of them get use to the constant lig checks and just stop and stand when I go to check, but I can normally only check her when she's eating or I have ahold of her). I'm eager to see her udder after she freshens!
