My latest batch of chicks

Got my new 24 on Feb 1,2012...straight run assorted bantams.


They did very well and i only lost 1 chick before moving them to the coop. I got very lucky and out of the eight different breeds i ordered, i got a breeding pair out of 6 of them!


She is my favorite hen.

My seabright roo had a mate, but she died last months.

My Sumatra Roo.

My Mottled Japanese hens.

Araucana Roo...no hen.

Mille Fluer Roo

Cant wait to see what they look like in a few more months, its has been a very good experience for my kiddos!

Those are some of the nicest-looking chickens I've ever seen! Ha, ha - sounds like a line you'd use to pick up someone in a bar! Seriously though, they're gorgeous!
