Craigslist has always been a great source for me to pick up things I sometimes need around my place. 2 years ago I picked up an 8x6 chicken coop with windows, doors, 10 nest boxes, the whole nine yards for a few hundred bucks. It's worked out great!

Just recently Ive been neding a small coop to house my duck, after looking into buying new, or building one I turned to my trusty Craigslist site and it came through as it usually does. Here are my latest Craigslist scores...


This guy was giving this away for FREE! It's my new duck house. It's insulated and the roof comes off! SCORE!!

This I will use to safely introduce my spring chicks to the big girls. The lady only wanted $12 for it! But I gave her $15

That is a great lookin Tom! I got a chicken once from CL and it ended up having lice or mites and infested my whole flock. It was a nightmare so I leary of buying birds now.

This is my best Craigslist score.









This is Rinty. Named after Rintintin the famous movie star dog. He is a German shepherd Belgian Malinois mix, and the best dog in the world!!! Of course I'm biased, but seriously. This dog is my best friend. He is always right behind me when I feed the chickens, and even played with my Silkie mix when he was a pup!
I got him for free from a wonderful lady who rescued him from cruel owners who were going to turn him lose in a very bad neighborhood. He was only 5 months old then. Now, he is 3 years, and still acts like a puppy!
