Stacey, it's SWEET! I absolutely love my coope up on stilts like that - gives them a place to get out of the weather, plus, their food doens't get wet if it rains! VERY nice! Tell DH he did a great job...I know you both did it together, but if you guys are like my DH and me...you're the gopher. Hey, that's an important job, too! Anywho...I love it! Great job!

Really fast work and I love the plexi pop door. Neat idea. Netting overhead will keep out most preds, except coons which may tear it. (Know of a case where a coon tore apart a steel catch-and-release trap) I would add 24" tall strip of chicken wire around base of inside to prevent birds from sticking their heads thru and to prevent coons from grabbing them and tearing them apart (which they will do and eat a piece at a time) Finally, I would put a fence charger on it and be sure to bond the fence to the ground lead of the charger as well as bonding the charger to ground via a ground rod. (Use a gallon jug of water and just keep poking the rod down and adding water until it sinks in a full 6 ft. Old indian trick.)
