My leukemia's back.

With my kid I think he hates to show any weakness. He wants to be strong and burly, and sees his asthma as a weeny boy thing.

:(

And he IS super strong and burly, much stronger than most kids his age.

Not sure why he is so critical of himself. ..oh wait.... let me look in the mirror

As some of you know, we have family staying with us until their home is finished. Well, it's getting close. In the meantime, one of the boys got the chicken pox. And now, a second one is getting them. She only got one shot for each one. And, they have a younger daughter... that hasn't had them. Oh Oh! Thing is, this first grandson got a mild case, hoping it goes the same for this other little guy...maybe the one shot helped?

My dtr had a single pox when my older son had them. We thought she was immune after the mild infection. They returned with a vengeance when she was a teenager. I had measles just before my first pregnancy. If it had occurred a couple months later, the results would have been disastrous. And, I even had measles as a child. I hope it's still standard practice to check titres before any planned pregnancy to allow time to get those immunities built up if needed.

I thought I had chicken pox as a child, but when my first husband and I decided we wanted a baby, I stopped taking my bc pills. My nephew got chicken pox and gave them to me! I was 26 years old! Thank goodness I hadn't gotten pregnant yet. My son will be 26 next Tuesday!

Prayers all around for all Team Rachel!! :love
