My leukemia's back.

My oncologist finally called today. She said that according to the tests, the cancer still looks inactive, but my lungs are inflamed, probably from this bug I have, but she will monitor things closely. I am on antibiotics, drinking lots of fluid, and trying to rest, in between finalizing preparations for Irma.

well....sounds pretty good.

Are you going to actually put your feet up? Or do you have a stack of things to do? :hugs

Phil, praying you get excellent results on your testing.

Alaskan hope she gets therapy. IT did cause havoc on my social life & everything else.
I didn't see a psychiatrist till I was 34. I cried through the entire first visit when he was just getting background info on me. I was sure he'd send me to the mental ward but, just made my next appt. That was a huge relief in itself.:hugs

Good morning Team :frow

Getaclue, hope the rest and antibiotics clear up the lung inflammation. Speaking of Irma, about where are you located (sorry if you've said and I've forgotten)?

Hi team! Ken & I are evacuating Cowley and heading to Cheyenne. By the looks of the rest of the nation's natural disasters, we figured we stay put in good old Wyoming and just bobble around back and forth. I know, not funny.

Debby, I'm sure glad you are here instead of there now!! Now we gotta talk the rest of the Team living along the coasts to join us!

Ken has meetings in Cheyenne so we'll be there overnight, heading for home late tomorrow afternoon

Welcome home, Phil! Isn't it grand that even after being gone for a bit, a simple flip of a computer switch brings all of our friends right back into the room with us!

Prayers for the young girl missing in Oregon - been through that with Lithle Diane, but she was missing in South Dakota in February. Gone for 6 of the longest weeks of my life! I feel for the family!

Keep those antibiotics going and get that lung infection cleared up! I worry.

Gonna scoot - on my phone and the road's getting to bumpy to type. My auto-correct dude is screaming at me and I'm starting to be able to type better backwards that forwards!

I was just reading about Irma and shivered when I saw this, "the massive storm moved toward Florida’s doorstep and increasingly threatened to ravage the state with destruction not seen in a generation." Whoa, I'm pretty glad I'm here in WY now too! Prayers for all within the potential storm areas.

Have a good trip to Cheyenne B!

Watch those lungs.... Hope they heal soon.
I honestly believe my COPD is caused from not taking my asthma seriously.
And continuing to work on an asthma unfriendly shop...... And I can tell you no matter what.... If you can't breathe nothing else matters..... And panic sets in.
