My leukemia's back.

@hbhoffman

you get sexlinked crosses when the female parent is barred or cuckoo.

Then all males are cuckoo...but super dark.

And all females are solid black.

as chicks usually the males are black with a white or cream headspot. The females are solid.

Sex linking produces a black sex link if the female is barred or cuckoo and the male is not barred or not white. Other crosses will produce a red sex link. for more info read the first post on the sex linked information thread. There are some charts on the first post that are super helpful to help you understand how it works.

We had way too much rain spring and summer. Now that it is the end of September and way hotter than it should be, we haven't had rain for a couple of weeks. But we do hear condensation "rain" coming off the metal roof at night and in the morning. And there is morning fog. And the grass is wet every morning. Plenty of humidity to go with that "no rain".

I would think Vermont would be getting pretty chilly this time of year. It's already been colder here this year than last. Strange weather all around I guess.

It SHOULD be cooler than it is! No way I should be sweating up a storm storing firewood the last week of September! The pool is still open, wife used it today and will again tomorrow. Usually suggesting one MIGHT be able to use it after Labor Day would illicit a hearty :lau

It is supposed to be 85° again tomorrow and Wednesday, then down to a more normal 65° Thursday, 61° Friday. 45° overnight Thursday into Friday. Bet I'll be closing the pool after that since that will repeat the next 3 days at least ;)
