.@FridayYet, I'm so sorry. I know that won't make things better for you. IV antibiotics are not fun and having catheters invading your body is even less fun, compound that having to deal with this over the holidays.

I went back 4 or 5 pages trying to catchup so please forgive my lack of information but have they done cultures and sensitivities on your infection? Do you know what bug you are fighting?

Luckily the catheters have been gone for 3 months, but the tracts they left are what became infected. We've aspirated twice, but cultures were negative both times. So frustrating!
At least it stays localized, no fevers or spreading. It just dies down when I'm on antibiotics, then a week later flares back up again.![]()
