My leukemia's back.

I hope so too, but I'm afraid they will have to end up cutting it out eventually. :( Since the bugs are hiding in irradiated tissue which probably has damaged blood flow, the meds can't easily get to all of them. But we can hope.
Is it possible that lymph node transplants could help? This is new apparently so your Dr.s may not know about it yet

If any of you noticed I left this thread after Rachel died, because just 2days later my aunt, very good friend, and uncle passed all within a few days of each other. And this thread was just too much for me.

But I've been thinking about all that is on here lately and feel like I can jump in again.

Oh and we had my aunts 9year old son come live with us, which has been a hard struggle as he is autistic but we are pushing on.

Just wanted to say why I had taken a break. Missed you all.

So sorry for all the loss TA, even just one of those would be hard. You certainly have had a lot of adjustments to make.

We're glad to have you back :hugs

Similar here, for most people. But not my daughters nor one of DD1's friends. She is 25 and just got her license this past summer. Were I "the people" driving her around, she would have gotten it a lot earlier or walked. One does need to pass a driver's ed class before they can get a license if they are under 18.

Not smoking is a good thing ;)
My children all moved out at 18..... With drivers licenses..... Would be hard to get around here without one.

Good point LG. 3,000 pound+ objects on the road travelling at high speed are dangerous. One needs to be responsible. A driver's license IS a privilege, not a right. In fact, DW just had to get her license renewed. She has a Passport card so no need to pay extra for an Enhanced license so she got a basic one. It says Driving Privilege Card right on it. The word license doesn't appear.

I didn't mind too much that my girls weren't in a rush. Insurance went way up, even for DD2 who was off at college in WI without a car. But according to the insurance company she could POTENTIALLY drive someone else's car while there so we had to have her insured. At least she had the "good student" discount.
It would be hard to live here without a license..... We don't really have a public transportation system..... But driving here is easy we don't have any traffic.
Rush hour would be three cars in the same lane per mile.......

If there's a car coming up the same hill we're going down, we call it grid lock! There aren't any 3 lane highways until we get to the southern part of the state. Because I've never had to drive 3 lanes, and b/c I have very poor depth perception, and have absolutely no sense of direction, I am not comfortable driving any thing more than a 2 lane highway. No public transportation out here in the sticks... unless you call a taxi... Totally unaffordable.

My kind of of rush hour Phil!

I've been going to Northampton, MA every Thursday for the last 2+ months. Originally I took the interstate down to Richmond but all the "gotta get there faster than everyone else" people are stressful and cause accidents. This was both morning and evening. I took the "back road" both ways the last couple of times, much more pleasant.

3 lane highway? What is that?? ;)
We have 3 lanes on I-89 over the Winooski river. The "outside" lane is basically a 1/2 mile long merge or exit lane depending on which direction you are going. You can't get on going north at Exit 15 and you can't get off going south.
