My leukemia's back.

Well I'm bummed. Just finished the steroids Monday, and up came a spot of infection. Went to the doc yesterday and there's not a big enough abscess to drain, just a mass of "bubbles". So I'm back on antibiotics to cover the holiday and next step is an infectious disease consult and IV Antibiotics.

And the stupid knot hurts!!!:barnie

I am with you... :barnie (or I guess I should say I am frustrated for you!!)

Such a long road! Especially since it sounded like the cancer was so nicely gotten rid of... to have this honeycomb of horror just dragging on.... VERY upsetting! :hugs

I sure hope they figure it out soon.

Good morning Team Rachel. Friday, sorry to hear about your situation. Praying the IV antibiotics solve the problem.

Yep. Probably don't want new unlicensed drivers being "monitored" by people without too much experience (like their sibling that got a license yesterday).

Plus we all know from the car insurance companies that you immediately become responsible on your 25th BDay no matter what you were like the day before. Of course they also think you are immediately responsible the day you get married. In some places that could be before you can legally drive!

25 does seem a bit extreme though. Maybe it should be 21 with at least 2 years of experience with a license.
Yeah that sounds at least a little more reasonable.... But I think we coddle our children way to much these days.
Growing up driving was the big stepping stone in becoming and adult...... Getting a Learners permit at 15 and running to the secretary of state office and getting your "real" licence on your 16th birthday.
Seems like they make it harder and harder for kids to get their licence nowadays.....
Of course maybe things were a little more slack on my day.....I actually went to a high school that allowed you to smoke as long as you were outside the door.
Spent many a in-between bells break smoking and talking to the principle.
Weren't allowed to smoke inside the Halls.... But I did.... And I got caught allot.
Finally Mr Wilson did suspend me for a day.....I showed up anyways.
A few days later Mr Wilson said "Cannon I saw you here Friday"....... Yeah I got away with murder at that school....:lau
The year after I graduated they started clamping down on the smoking at school deal.

I keep you in my prayers always friend......:hugs

Wife is in the kitchen making home made Mac and Cheese to take to my works Christmas party......I wonder if I'm getting a bonus this year....I think I'm the only person I know who still gets a Christmas bonus after over 2 years not working there.

At the same time they call me enough for help when they have a problem vehicles it's almost like I'm a consultant.......:D

Through a stroke of sheer luck I was able to retire early. Department manager asked if I would consider being a consultant. I replied, "Yes, for $1.000/day." She laughed and said, "You really don't want to come back, do you." I answered, "No, but if you need me I will come back for free." A week after I left they had a USDA inspection. The veterinarian who took my position got smart with the inspector, and they ended up with a list of 'inadequacies'. I helped get things squared away and suggested that they find someone who could control their ego to do the job.
