My leukemia's back.

I don’t wanna hear about spin-outs and cars getting crunched! We’re spending the night up in Billings because my procedure is early in the morning. Thought the bad weather was supposed to move in today but now it’s not supposed to start until later tonight and all day tomorrow. We gotta drive home in it.
So shhhhhhhhh.. no spin-outs!

Now, don't get all worried and stuff. Throat swelling IS one of the known effects of Prednisone in older women, BUT certainly not in all older women, and I already had a known sensitivity to it. If you need it, and they prescribe it, know that grumpiness is a much more likely side effect than throat closing!

Thou scoffeth, good sirrah...however one year Ken and I were deer hunting around Fort Randall in South Dakota. We were tired, sore, and most of all hungry, since we had pitched a tent in our chosen area and were too stinking tired to set up the campfire and cook anything. So we jumped in the pickup and headed to Fort Randall Casino. It was a Saturday night, too....All-You-Can-Eat-Crab-Legs. We walked in there in orange cammo, hunting boots, our hunting knives still strapped to our hunting belts, and parked it. Enjoyed a lovely dinner among the, um, better dressed set. Hey, it was South Dakota during hunting season....nobody batted an eye!
I take Prednisone every day..... But I don't get crabby anymore unless I bump my dose way up...... Then watch out!!!!!

One of the things I had to adjust to living in south FL, there were no cart corrals at the grocery stores. Rounding up carts was a full time job for an employee.

And at fast food places, there were no trash cans for diners to put their own trash into. There were employees that cleaned up after each diner left.

Took me some getting used to!
Why?
Why no cart Corral's?

I'd love to, but with all the snow we've had this winter, there's no way they would catch fire. Still anywhere from 12 - 24" of snow on ground and on piles. They are a sodden frozen mess right now. And, there's as much soil rock mixed in as there is wood. The guy who did our earth work left us with a horrid huge mess to clean up. I can't imagine we will ever get those piles taken care of.
:hugs

Hi all. Lying here recovering from surgery with that “disconnected brain” kind of feeling. Not too much pain, but the nerves probably haven’t woken up yet. There’s a big ugly wound that will need packing , but I’ll deal with that at wound clinic tomorrow.

Now back to bed.
Sorry hun.... Feel better......:hugs

You will be in my prayers tonight....
