My leukemia's back.

I can't wait to see what she looks like after she's had a dust bath. @bruceha2000 , at least she was not a white bird!!!
Everything here is dusty! The White Rocks are dirty especially when it rains. Teddy is supposed to be a black alpaca, and was last year. Now he is kinda brownish gray. He has a great time in his giant "dust bowl" over by the solar panels. Not looking forward to shearing dirt.

I’m glad it worked so much better for you! I lucked out on my sleep study and barely registered on the sleep apnea scale so we don’t need to do anything! Prayers for all of you!
Ah Blooie, you aren't going to be a member of our club :(
:D

Got out of that club as soon as I could, I was referring to the Sleep Apnea club. Had a CPAP for a couple of months as a trial to see if it worked after I was tested. It did, as far as me not stopping breathing. But I was consciously awake 8-10 times a night repositioning the mask, just as tired, if not more, with as without, just no morning headache. So the ENT gave me 3 options:
  1. Keep messing (and suffering) with the CPAP. Not my first choice. Besides it waking me up all the time I used to sail, can't take the CPAP and humidifier out on the boat. Or to the west coast to visit relatives (at least not easily)
  2. Rip out irreplaceable body parts, no guarantee it will work. Um, no thanks.
  3. Oral appliance. BINGO. Won't pull off my face when I move in my sleep, doesn't involve ripping out irreplaceable body parts so if it doesn't work, doesn't need to be plugged in, isn't bulky, makes no noise.
So I went to the dentist, got fitted. The rest is history, they seem to last me about 10 years, just got my third one a month or so back. They ARE expensive so that part is a bit iffy for "trial" since the appliance is basically a pair of retainers that are made from molds of your teeth. But the cost, if it does work, is far less than renting a CPAP for 10 years and a WHOLE lot less than surgery. No pain or recovery either.

I’m sorry to disappoint.....well, kinda sorta but not really! :lau

Almost 3 years after losing Miss Molly, we got a new puppy! Timing stinks what with all the traveling we’ve got going on, but Tam and Evan fell in love with her too so she’ll stay with them when we have to leave town. Her name is Fiona, and she’s been our dream dog for almost 40 years. Every time we were looking into getting one, something got in the way. This time she nearly fell into our laps and we couldn’t pass on the opportunity. So our Irish Wolfhound is here! She’s 17 weeks old, and she’s sooooo good!
