My Mom and sister came to visit today

it was kinda pathetic, I had the door to my room open, was stalking the nurses station waiting for them to be buzzed in......I do okay for the most part, but sure miss my family. I told my Mom it's a good thing, though, that I feel well enough to be bored. I could be curled in a fetal position, puking, running a fever

instead I almost feel guilty for taking up a good bed. They were having staffing issues on my floor last night and I graciously offered to go home, just to accomodate their staffing you know

. The didn't take me up on it......

That is surely hard for you to go thru this. Don't you feel bad about the bed! I'm sure those nurses would rather keep you as a patient than have to give your bed to some grouchy whiney person!

Aren't ya glad you got your chickens and your friends at BYC???

Sugar Monkey asked me which inanimate object I missed most while gone. Told him it had to be a toss up between my very own bed, and the woodstove. Love my woodstove!

I knew I was going back tomorrow for a bone marrow biopsy under sedation, they'd told me it was at 0930. Okay, 4+ hour drive, that's doable. Early, but doable. So a nice young man calls me today and tells me I need to be there at 0745

. Told him that just wasn't possible and they'd have to work something out. He got all flustered and told me he'd call me back--apparently he was too skeered cause he made my nurse Florence call me---she got it down to 0830, but that's the best they can do. So, we'll be getting up around 0330.....discussed driving up tonight and staying the night, but with the boys and the animals it's just not worth it. At least this way, we'll be home when the boys get home from school!
