Oh my goodness! Just found out that the plane crash was on purpose. It was his home. Yes, domestic problems. He and his wife had been up a canyon drinking earlier that night. They fought, He assaulted her. Someone reported it. He went to jail. Got out. Ask police officers to escort him to the home at midnight to gather some things. Did that, a couple of hours later, he flies a plane into the home. He flew planes for this Co. In Spanizh Fork. His wife and a juvenile were safe. Guess it didn't work out the way he wanted. For pity's sake...

Now DH just goes down to the basement and flips the breaker. We go back to sleep hoping the house doesn't catch on fire and deal with batteries in the morning.

I know which breaker they are on. The same one as the range hood and EVERY FREAKING LIGHT in the kitchen as well as one in the bathroom and the short "hall" in front of the bathroom. Apparently done that way so we know if they aren't "live". Isn't that WHY they have batteries they drain even when they are powered 24x7x365?
