That's being a good parent Deb...letting them go for their happiness. I always thought my main role as a parent was to raise my boys so my job became obsolete. Letting go can be hard but I think it's necessary.

Hes been older than me since he turned about twelve... very old soul... He turned 29 this time.... sigh.

I had him when I was 34....

Yeah, that's what I thought I was supposed to do too.....on really bad days I could tell myself that they were eventually going to grow up and leave home. Well, guess what? They multiplied and came home!!

Where would he like to be Deb?

Along the coast where its cooler is about all I get from him. Pacific North west Which means Washington or Oregon... Probably working for the department of forestry. Or fishery conservation...

Hes very Liberal right now... beyond realistic but he needs to be out in life.... that will change some. His geology degree should allow him to work for the EPA doing water testing....

So we will see. There are some perks for working in each area...

LOL.... one time when he was about five he was upset with me... "If you dont get me that I will never speak to you again" I said "OK' and kept shopping. "What do you mean by that" ::Snort:: I think that was the last time I had the real upper hand...

Had my son was I was 38, he just turned 33 last month. I'll do the math for you, I was 71 in July.

When he was much younger, he let me know if I stopped buying myself junk. I could spend more on him.

He also used to point the TV remote at me - trying to shut me up. Real wisenheimer!

Plus he let me know he couldn't teach me much about computers because I was too dumb to understand. I kept him anyway.

He's much better now- realizing I could die any minute. I have no plans to do so.
