See above. Chili with macaroni is chili mac, chili without macaroni is chili. Chili with beans is considered blasphemy to Texans. Chili with pasta would be considered the same.
In this area chili mac is in essence chili made the consistency of coney sauce and spooned over spaghetti or macaroni. chili with macaroni in it is roughly the same consistency as chicken noodle soup. a little thicker seeing as it's tomato juice as a base and not chicken broth. Beans are always used......
 
I've never heard of anyone putting pasta in chili before! We do a lot with chili but never pasta. Now you have me curious about it :lol:
I have seen Cincinatti Chili which is spaghetti with chili on top...

But for me Chili has very very few veggies in it.... No tomato Sauce... no beans Just onion Garlic Chili powder and meat.... Not hamburger... though I am not a meat snob...
