My leukemia's back.

@Cynthia12 - we didn’t have a “family meal” at Thanksgiving this year, although we did have some family here. DIL and GS came, and we went to my sister in law’s church (along with my folks). Here are a couple of pics of our little visitor.

Love it! Cute little munchkin. :) Someday she will know how blessed she is to have been raised around chickens..and..horses! Something I wanted my whole life. I know I've mentioned that before, just thankful I had a chance to ride a lot back in the day. Even if they weren't mine. What great memories. Thank you for Sharing!

My nomination for post of the year!!! Without revealing too much, I know some of what you have been through, especially hearing about your (our) Richard. We were at least prepared for Kendra - you had no clue there would be any issues and neither did your doctors! So your family are my heroes!

Loved seeing this!!!! Makin’ Memories, as Little Diane used to say!

So Miss Cynthia, you wanted photos? Here’s one of my family at my sister Linda and hubby Russ’ house the Thanksgiving just before Linda’s aneurism Christmas night. This is just some of us......there were 31 of us missing. Yep, 31 AWOL. Ken, me, our kids, grands, and great-grands made 13 missing alone! And I have the honor of being the Matriarch of the clan.

That is so cool! I would love to be able to get that many of us together for a photo like this. Beautiful! A lot of blessings to be grateful for. Thank you for sharing. :)

Morning all! Cynthia, may I ask a question? would the spinal bif. son be willing to look into a condo? in essence all he would own is between the paint? if there is elec. or plumbing or such repairs certain repairs would be automatically a professional hired repair a while others would be on the condo boards list of responsibility (also hired)? he might have to do some himself, but likely many could be hired out to a jack or jill of all trades (handy man) likely there may be a firm that a condo board may hire for their misc. repairs or a "property manager" (or what ever title that they are given) that does it, and either way the person or company might be willing to do odd jobs for a certain fee.
Hey..that's a thought. He's talking about moving. Wants to be in the town where he is closer to his youtube friends, and a hospital. He's been having some problems lately, landing him in the ER. Poor guy takes the bus from where he is to the town over just to get there. Those buses take a while. There is a special service he could sign up for, but nooo..I can take the bus. ....or move closer. That's Richard.

Wow, Blooie! What a great picture! I’m an only child - DH has one sister - large families fascinate me.

Thanks, Cynthia! We think he’s pretty adorable. I wish he close enough to be raised with chickens and horses, but he lives 2 1/2 hours away in a large city. I’m hoping as he gets older he can come spend more time on then farm.

Ahhh..like me! I got my love of chickens from going to my grandmother's. No horses, but I never forgot the love of collecting those eggs, and watching her mama hen laying, hatching, then seeing her with her babies in the yard. Never lived on a farm..I wish, but when I found out I could have back yard chickens, well.............

Good Morning folks!
Bobbi-j, big families may be fun both of my parents were born in large families, my mom's family I wouldn't give to my worst family, they are so horrible. My dad's spread so far across the country, met 5 of 20 1st cousins. some of them it's my understanding have GRAND KIDS my age, yea, my cousins could be my parents age wise.... rarely saw any aunts/uncles of the ones I met (out of 8 I only met 5, 3 of those only 1 or 2 times) so as far as that was concerned one side I wish my parent was an only child, and as far as having any relationship with them, the 2nd might as well just had 1 sibling and 1 niece/nephew, and would have a better relationship if the all the visitations were focused one 1 adult/child combo....

I knew from the time I was a little girl that I wanted to live on a farm. Married my farmer right out of high school and haven't looked back. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
