My leukemia's back.

Dh is resting today, because he works tonight. I made spaghetti, so that's what we're having for supper. He'll eat before he goes to work, and later on, he'll eat at work. He comes home tired, so he'll go to bed, and sleep. That's why we got this place, for when he retires. He can garden, do things around here, and stay busy. It's just that the weather was really bad this weekend, so he could not get out. Usually he's not quite so obnoxious.

getaclue I have a farmer in my area with a big farm he has 1 or 2 full time workers and hires many school age boys (and a few others out of school) that work part time as needed. he has SEVERAL little 3x5 notebooks that he keeps "chores" on that need to be done each notebook is filled with different type chores in categories that he has laid out to suit him. As each boy gets done with a list he hands them another out of a different note book as he sees fit. I think also it depends on each boys skill. if one is mechanically inclined he might get more farm equipment repair /maintenance. one more carpentry inclined might get more fence/building repair. with that explained you might get several "honey do" lists for both hubby and yourself to get stuff done on weekends like that some are inside only, outside only, barn/garage (mainly) only. barn/garage might be okay if it's just raining (depending on the list). but you get my point keeps you and hubby happy and busy. although sometimes I'm sure the lists will dwindle to several 5 minute chores that will grow old fast if the list isn't all done in 2-3 hours depending on weather/money restrictions.

I retired before the Princess. Somehow she got the idea that 'honey do' lists were the way to go. Every day she wrote one, and every day I crumpled it up and threw it on the floor. After a month or so I asked how the 'honey do' lists were working out. She conceded not very well, and I countered with , "How about one project per day ?" That worked.

I'm still working at getting all the odds and ends done with housekeeping tonight. Everything is looking good. All the presents are in gift bags, with bows, and festive. The Christmas lights look good this year. I put everything off this year. I've had a really hard time getting into the Christmas spirit, which isn't really like me. It's been more like I have been going through the motions. I don't know why. Anyway, I've sort of snapped out of it, and now I'm starting to be more excited about tomorrow.
