My leukemia's back.

For those of you of faith please pray for me, I am starting to blame God and hate the world because of mom dying and our cat this past summer and how idiots are treating me. I have blocked numbers but some are blocking theirs in order to get thru and leaving nasty messages.
Will do sir!

Free will kind of sucks sometimes

They can’t do to you what you don’t let them do. They can’t rule your thoughts, your actions, or your heart. And I don’t care what anyone says, sometimes it’s okay to get mad at God and blame Him, because you know what? He’s got big shoulders. To me it’s no different than when we have to come down on our kids and get that old, “It’s all your fault....I hate you!” routine. We just walk away, let them stew for a bit, then hug them when they come to us later. In my mind, God is the same kind of a Father - letting us make mistakes, live with the consequences of those mistakes, but enfolding us in those great arms when we realize our temper got the best of us and letting us know that He understands and forgives us. Sounds simple, but then I’m a pretty simple kind of woman, as guess.

So of course you’ll be in my prayers as you struggle to get past all of this. God doesn’t turn His love for us on and off like a faucet, and neither do I! Hugs, my friend!!
Interestingly put! That's exactly how I believe God is with us. Loving us with a love we can't begin to comprehend. Think of how much you love your mother. That's just a tiny bit of how much He loves you. He, nor the world is to blame for this hard part in life. I think you know that. Like Blooie said, ignore, walk away. . Maybe there is another way to block them. Life happens, and it's definitely up to us as to how we handle situations, so as to be a happy person. Prayers for you as you decide the best way to get through things now. You'll get through. :) .

My friend's husband recently died. He had been on dialysis for quite a few years. He started with a 2 x a week regimen, and over the years advanced to every other day. She had to monitor his blood pressure continuously. His diet, and supplements were a big deal too, as well as medications. He was diabetic on top of it. Fortunately, she is a nurse, so they got his regimen down good. Even with that, there were times, that things would throw a bit of a kink into the picture. Especially if they rushed it, and didn't get him cleaned out enough. She was able to get decent transportation most of the time, so she didn't have to spend all day at the center waiting on him.

That was one of the last things they did prior to leaving when the hurricane hit up there. The dialysis center got all their worse patients done, so they had time to travel, and get set up wherever they were going. She had everything packed, and ready to travel, then left for Florida as soon as he was done.

It is great that she was a good care giver!

Stuff like that is very hard on the caregiver too

oldrooster, don't return calls to any blocked numbers. Wait for them to leave a voice mail message. That way you don't have to listen to the whole message, if it's from someone you don't want to listen to.

This is not God's fault, but that doesn't mean your faith isn't being tried. Sometimes to get us to a better place, He has to turn things upside down, or we would just stay right where we're at.

It is an Orthodox church. Here in the states the most common are Greek Orthodox, or Russian Orthodox. But the one I go to is Antiochian. They are all in communion with one another... there is an Orthodox Church of America (OCA) too. But the US is such a melting pot that we have all of the different kinds as well as OCA.

It’s absolutely stunning, and you are justifiably proud of your son!

Well said!

God gave us all free will. Not limited will where if you do something bad I will stop you.

That means that people can choose to be truly horrid. Full on awful.

Sorry you are being so beset. :hugs
