My leukemia's back.

We went to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens last night for their light show. It was really nice.

Anyways... Her we are 4 going on for years later.... She way better today..... Basically she's come back around to herself again.
:) We always hear that someone has to hit rock bottom before they see the light and seek help. Thankfully it worked for her though the lead-in was hell on you. Not sure it is a good idea to keep it from the kids though. They might have inherited the addiction genes and should know to keep on watch. Nip that in the bud if possible, way too easy to say "not me".

Might as well wish for one you don't have to pay back too! :lau
I think that is what he meant by "no due date". They can take it out of his hide when he dies ;)

Not sure how much total she could get for them
You might want to find out the best vehicle for selling them for max profit. Likely as not she would just list them on Craig's List and get very little of what they are really worth.
Put that info somewhere, maybe with your will if you have one.

But YOU have figured out that you were headed for the rapids and have pulled off the river. Doing well and recognizing the improved life of not having increasingly crushing debt over your head. Everyone that gets paid off will make you feel better.

@cynthia, that dog is Pete and he's a character! Ask Wyo to share the photo of Pete in the bucket! Hilarious! We still had Molly, our English Setter, back then and the two of them looked so much alike except you could tell their genders by their build - Pete is handsome and masculine looking, Molly was delicate and very feminine! Love your adorable little pup too, and the bow on top of the head is priceless! I have a big dog - you ain't missin' much! :lau

Phil, it's not what we do in our lives that matter so much as how we learn to "fix" the consequences. You've done a superlative job of taking your experiences and helping so many other people over rough spots in their lives, and it's because you've lived them and overcome them yourself that you are such a voice of wisdom! Don't ever change!

@skwarsky , I'm not sure we've met. I'm Blooie...just Blooie. I know this is going to be your year because you've decided it will be! That's most of the battle, and you've got a great head start!

Had a nice, quiet birthday yesterday. We went to Billings, did a little shopping, had a nice lunch, and then came home and hung new curtains. Daughter Terrin's birthday is Jan 4, Kenny's is Jan 9th, Ken's is Jan 10th, and then we're done with immediate family birthdays for the year. Of course, daughter Tam's was December 5 and Katie's December 17th so we're about birthdayed out by that first two weeks of January! After that those of the inlaws and grandkids are interspersed throughout the year like in normal families! When I went in to confirm my pregnancy with Kenny, the doctor looked at the birthdays in our family and said, "You and your husband are going to have to find something else to do in the spring or your winters are going to be awfully hectic!" :th

@skwarsky I wish you the best for the new year! Sounds like you have a plan and are on your way to being debt free.

It is hard to admit we made a mistake, but kudos to you to face the issue and work to fix the problem. I have had some money issues in the past and have been lucky to be able to correct them. My husband is good with money, so he handles the finances now
