My leukemia's back.

We rediscovered alot of stuff, every time we moved. Never seemed to get rid of anything either. DH just got another air compressor and has his eye on a big one that will be permanently installed in the machine shed. He has a small pancake compressor, his new compressor that has a built in hand dolly for moving it to the work area, and his big tank one. I am sure he has uses for each one...
Yeah....I have a nice compressor.... But I've been buying tools for 40+ years

I keep rediscovering things I forgot I owned....
More projects you can do with the "new" tools!

I have always said, when looking for a home, get one with as much storage space as possible. You will always "grow" into it.
Or NOT get as much storage space as possible! If you don't have the space you have to get rid of all the clutter you have no space for. I am suffering from having had too much storage space and a DW that won't get rid of anything. Piles and piles of clutter, things that haven't been touched for years and likely won't be until she dies.

I hate to tell you this, but if you don't have the space, you do NOT have to get rid of all the clutter you have no space for. You just work around the clutter, and complain you need more space. On the other hand, when you have more storage space, it's much easier to stash the clutter.

Yeah I've heard that "we need more space to put things". But at least here it is bull. We need less cr@p that NO ONE gives a rat's patootie about ... until I suggest getting rid of it. There is a box with some framed pictures on the floor in the dining room. It has been there for a year. They are DW's pictures. When I brought them from the other house when clearing it out I put it on her chair so she could decide what she wanted to do with them. Got no farther than on the floor against the wall. One small instance.

Ok, do you have frames for the pictures? One evening, grab some of the pictures, and select a few as your favorites. She might help with going through them. Anyway, put the ones you choose in frames, and hang them. The dollar stores here used to carry a good selection of frames that didn't cost an arm and leg. Salvation Army thrift store, and another local thrift store usually have lots of them, and they're inexpensive. I got the hardware to hang them at Home Depot.

Michael's tends to have scrap books, and the sticker tab things to hold the pictures on the scrap book pages. That's a good thing to do with the ones you don't want to hang. Next time you go somewhere with her, have her pick out one or two, and some of the sticker things that hold them to the page.

Maybe having the supplies to help get it done, will empower her, or inspire her, and she can get it done.
