Wow! Maybe calling the local media would help. Here we have something called 8 On Your Side. It's Channel 8 news, and you write in various types of complaints, and they investigate them. You'd be surprised how fast they get some action, or when they don't, they check for other similar complaints, and do a story on it. When Google Maps was directing people into the ocean here for several addresses, they did a big story on it, which other media picked up on too. They asked for people to give them a week, and it would be fixed. It happened.

I live at the end of a dead end street. Yet google doesn't even show there is another house at the end MINE. The neighbor has a huge evergreen which blocks sight of my home, so nobody tried very hard to confirm that. A victory for me.

PS except for all the cars that shoot down our one block street, get pissed and turn around on my front lawn.

Wyoming has a population of 579,315 people in the entire state. I'm sure a public outcry on a local station would not do anything. There must be many, many people in the rural areas with the same sort of problem.

I go days without seeing anyone but DH. Of course, once the golf course opens up in April I'll see more (probably more than I'd like).

There are schools where there is just one student in a grade. The little school house by our place had 18 students - 1st grade through 5th.

My Mom taught at a school like that in a little place called Paskenta. She taught several grades there.

All my schooling was through various Chicago schools - Chicago is very big. So every time we moved we were still in Chicago. Classes were large.

If he returns to school, he would qualify for accommodations, such as tutoring, special testing situations, extra time to complete assignments or take tests, etc. He might benefit from vocational rehabilitation services, as he may not be suitable for normal employment situations. He would have a disadvantage in jobs that require speed, much memory and new learning, writing and math skills, and customer service. He should focus on his strengths, i.e. reading skills. Counseling is recommended to increase interpersonal skills and psychological insight. He might also benefit from life skills training, to increase independent living skills and financial management.
