My leukemia's back.

Good morning, Team Rachel. Trip to Annapolis and back was a breeze - day was beautiful. It's spring there (almost) daffodils and maples are in bloom - temps were in the mid 60's. Best part of day was the fact that grand daughter with Lupus is doing well both physically and mentally. :yesss:

So glad to hear! :clap

Thank you! He was so special, and since I was updating here on a few threads as we went through his treatment, for a while he had quite a fan club! I wish it hadn’t had to end the way it did, but the grandkids came first.
Yes sad thing for you but was an understandable decision. I wouldn’t have wanted to risk it either. Looking at it on the flip side for Scout, he wouldn’t had the bonus life he did if you hadn’t done all you did.

Right now she is job hunting and has had second interviews on two jobs. For the time being I hope that she puts college and the pressure that goes with it on the back burner, but I'm only the grandfather. :p
If nothing else she might take one or two classes part time. there are some classes I know require little work perhaps she can take a few of those and if she is laid off/fired/forced to quit she might be able to sign up for a couple of harder classes focus on them for a while then look for more work. not saying I want her out of a job mind you, just keeping options open....

sour, speaking of Lupus, my MIL says that's what her doctor thinks she has. Her doctor practices internal medicine, and is the one that took out her gall bladder. She says he tries various treatments each month, but nothing he's doing seems to be making her better. I tried to talk to her about going to a rheumatologist. She's got more excuses than Carters has liver pills. She won't give much information on symptoms either, except she has swelling, and soreness. I know there is more than 1 type, and it's difficult to diagnose, but don't know a lot about it.

Watching over me while Ken’s out of town....those EYES!
