going to a friend's house one brother threw me out on one thanksgiving because I asked what time they wanted me to show up and when, and he didn't like what I brought the other brother told me I am not allowed at his house unless I was married and have kids. not getting married or having kids just for him to be in my life. sorry...

When we were out in Wyoming, we spent most of the Holidays with friends. Most everyone in our subdivision was not from the area, so no-one had family close by to visit.

I went to my oncologist yesterday. Everything is stable. Yay! I asked for a prescription of some silvadene cream. She told me to go to my primary care physician for it. She further explained that the doctors are being totally scrutinized about everything they're prescribing. It used to be that once an oncologist was involved with a patient's care, the oncologist was to coordinate the overall care, which helped ensure there were no conflicts in cancer medications, and anything else prescribed. Now, once the patient has been stable for a year, they are to deal with monitoring, and prescribing for the cancer aspect only. Anything else is to be handled by the primary, even minor stuff, like silvadene cream. Sheesh!

Excellent news about the cancer.

As to silvadene cream... sheesh! I am pretty sure no one gets high off of it... so why force you to shell out an extra 2 hours and $150 just to get a tube?

Like she said, due to the opioid crisis, they are monitoring everything, not just opioids.

Have a good night folks I am hoping next year mom's estate to be settled and I can plan for a future without any family in it. esp. since mom's side is nuts and what they have indicated I am not sure who my dad is/was and the man who raised me I didn't know much of his family anyway. I am considering doing a DNA test like the ansestary or 23 types and me and figure out more from there... I'd love it if it came out that I was switched at birth and not even be related to mom's side. it is possible I was a c-section baby when dads where not allowed in the room...

Thankfully that storm is sliding north of us @LittleLakePhil - at lesat the cold factor is. We did get over an inch of rain last night and I am grateful that we are still at 42 degrees.

Yeah and wet lost power for 6 days ta boot.
On the first day my plow tuck broke when i ripped the front driveshaft right outta her.
So i was trapped in a house with a severely depressed wife for 6 days.
Truck is now fixed.... and I've been cleaning up since Monday. Gonna take a while to get everything plowed the way it needs to be.
My wife's depression is the worst I've ever seen it this time.
Scared she will try to hurt herself..... so im keeping a close eye on her..... she has an appointment to get help but can't get in till the 20th.
