My leukemia's back.

Rachel - good to hear that your Honey's co-worker's situation isn't as bad as it seemed yesterday. You can't just "switch off" the caring part of you, but you have enough to deal with, you don't need to be fretting about someone that can't be bothered to take care of himself. It's a sad situation, but it sounds like it is more or less covered.

Blooie, somehow I am reminded of a comic (was it George Burns? Bob Hope? I can't remember) who said he started every day by reading the newspaper in bed. If he didn't find his name in the obituaries, he went ahead and got up . . . .

I was originally on three antirejection meds...cellcept was one of them prednisone another...I can't remember the third sorry. I asked my wife she can't remember either.
But yes they do that on purpose...basically they back off to see how your body reacts. Hopefully at some piont it does okay...Then they back off some more at a later date.
I stayed on prednisone the longest...But after two years I was off everything. My doctor says my donor must have been a blood brother....he also said he thought he could throw me in a pit of alligators and I would come out smelling like roses.
Oh how I hate the mucus so freaking viscous...gags me too...
no thank you on the CPAP....wouldn't be able to sleep with something on my face.
I basically have to sleep on my sides which is also hard as my shoulders hurt so bad(okay enough whining from me).
Either way I hope you get some answers about your lungs...I am still of the opinion that you liver improvement is the prednisone working against G vs H (only because it mirrors what happened to me). .....keep up the fight...from the north woods....Phil

I processed a rooster all by myself! I'm so proud

I feel this opens up a whole new world! I don't have to rely on Honey to be here, or take up his time doing something I can do myself. yippee!

400

I had a long cold, windy, rainy day on the lake....But caught a lot of fish and was given a beautiful sunset to cap of my day.
Congrats on the processing today...not among my favorite things to do. Killing and cleaning something wild is one thing. But an animal that had been raised is another....still hope you start feeling better....Phil

All Right!

I have three starting to crow and two others about a month behind. I will likely process the three older ones in a couple of weeks. I process by myself too.
