My leukemia's back.

Love your avatar, Phil!

No vertigo here, thankfully.

Do any of you creative types have a good idea for something to use as pegs on a hat rack besides wooden pegs/dowels? We have a simple coat rack in our hallway that's basically a 2x4 with wooden pegs mounted at an angle to hang coats from. I want to put a similar rack above it (the coat rack is low, like waist height) for hats, but I'd like to do something cuter or more creative than wooden pegs. I thought about using bent silverware but that seems weird for hats. I also don't want anything sharp as they'll be at eye-ish level. The hats are my crocheted beanie types and baseball caps, so the pegs don't need to be very long, just 2 inches or so. Or some type of hook? I'm drawing a blank on something to put up there that will look nice.
I saw something adorable on pinterest, and it is so us... but all of our faucet handles are in use.

I like the wrenches the others do not seem sturdy enough

I've seen garden rake heads mounted on walls to use for hanging small hand tools.

I have a couple of those and thought about using them. Thing is, I've seen too many icky movies where someone gets impaled on coat hooks, etc and they freak me out. I know, I should probably watch different shows, right? But that image is there. I'll save the rake heads for outdoor use.

Jan, I like the faucet ideas. Maybe I'll go hunting in the garage and see what's out there

So I got a wolf hanging out right behind my house....he let out two loud howls tonight just before dark....gonna have to keep a close eye on the dogs. The cats finally quit going out for the winter so they'll be fine...a friend of mine just lost his dog. Wolf snatched it right in front of him.

Like the new avatar, Phil! Tell Sally good job!

Cute hat hangers! Guess I'd better start looking for one too. <gulp> I made the plunge today! Oh, dear, Ken is so mad at me right now. He'll get over it or it'll be a very long trip back to Sioux Falls tomorrow. I'll give you tease before I edit and post the final later.......

How can someone who has had so much hair be so bald? I mean, I had a little bit of grey and a whole lot of pink scalp! I'd spend way too much time in the bathroom trying comb overs and whatever else trying to cover up the bald spots. Then one puff of wind and the comb over was totally over. Finally I just decided to stop fighting it. This is what it I have for hair and it's stupid to try to make it look like it ain't ever gonna look again. So it's gone.

News from home is not good. Ashley tested positive for Chicken Pox, which is very dangerous for kids with Leukemia. So she'll likely be in the hospital for some time yet. If you could just keep the prayers coming a little bit longer, we'd all appreciate it.
