My leukemia's back.

@Blooie that's a great way of taking all the work out of tomorrow. Spending time with the ones you love is the best part of any holiday.

Hi @sourland

And to everyone else, don't work too hard today...gotta have enough energy to have fun tomorrow!

Thanks for the idea Blooie! We are on vacation and trying to figure out how to do thanksgiving in a rental house with limited pots and pans. I'll cook the turkey breast and stuffing tonight and reheat tomorrow. Should work great.

We are south of you in the Florida Keys for the week. We will have a combo of traditional thanksgiving and island - with the addition of key lime pie and fresh snapper, Cuban rolls, and guava cake!

DH and I used to live in KW. If you want a fun place for Key Lime pie, check out the Key Lime Republic on Greene St. Some friends of ours own it and they have knocked themselves out not only with their pie but all the fun gifty type stuff, painted coconuts, etc. About 2 years ago, not long before we left, they added on to their store and now have the Coconut Factory with all things coconut. Great store and super nice people. If you do go, tell Robin & Bill hi from Debby & Brian! Our store was across the street from them, I think it's a shoe store now.

You're going to have such a wonderful holiday!

edited: the store changed it's name since we were there

Not sure we will make KW this trip since we are staying in Marathon and hanging out in the Middle Keys. (Usually we stay in Cudjoe, but the place was already booked.)

We are taking the kids to the turtle hospital today.

Hey..Blooie....any room for two more to join you tomorrow?

We could do with eating something edible...I weigh 103 lb...and my Husband is as skinny as a rake...this is all due to my cooking skills I think...!

I cooked some potato peelings for my chickens yesterday evening....I forgot to turn the hob off...I invented crisps...well, that is not quite the case...this morning a horrendous aroma was emitting from my kitchen..yes, the hob was still "cooking" the peelings...my saucepan needed some tlc...vinegar, baking soda and still it stinks to high heaven...any tips for helping my debilitated saucepan would be so much appreciated!

If any of you out there would like to lose some weight...come here and taste my food...all are welcome!

Happy thanksgiving to you all and beware Suzie's cooking!
