Rachel, it sounds like you had a BYC Thanksgiving, lol. Glad it all worked out. I hope when Echo gets the pillow done, he won't mind if you share a picture with us.

Do any of you do the Black Friday shopping thing? Years ago I went out a couple of times with my cousin but even back then, it was too crazy so I haven't done it since.

I would not go either...even if they were giving away free saucepans...I am getting used to the blackened one I ruined a few days ago ...when I was "cooking" potato peelings.....on Black Tuesday night...

Black Friday... You could't pay me to go to town that day. No way, no how... even with the coupons that I do have at various stores for $10 of free merchandise.

Yeah I was reading the black Friday headlines on the Drudge Report.....sounds like a bunch of animals out there today

Well, I'm going to be brave and do some Black Friday shopping

. But, I'm not going until about 2 pm, and it's to the Grange. They have the large bales of compressed shavings on sale for $8 each, that's about all I'm looking for. If the parking lot's too crowded at that time, I'll just skip it. But yeah, that's my big shopping adventure today. Honey and I had a miscommunication, I thought he wanted to be at Bi-Mart when they opened to get some .22 ammo, so I got up butt early when he did. After I'm showered and dressed, fully committed to being awake, then he tells me he's not going shopping, he's just going to work early.

. Oh well. At least there was pie for breakfast.
