Hi everyone.

I can not emphasize how sick I am of rain and mud. This is the time of year I consider just selling all my animals and starting over again in the spring.

I hate mud.

We just didn't have much ability or finances to combat it this year, and I feel I'm living in a swamp.

Is mud your usual winter weather Rachel? Or is it going away soon?

It's not going anywhere. We'll have mud until probably May. One reason I want to move! I missed mud season last year, I was in Portland recovering from my transplant. Came home end of May and it was nice and green and dry and pretty

. Not that I want to do that again, of course!

Mmm, mud vs. transplant...yeah, I'd choose the mud too!

We never have mud here, there's so much sand in the "soil" the water barely pools. So instead of mud sticking to us, sand sticks to us. Guess I'd rather not have either

I am supposed to be giving her a bath right now, but it is raining.

Son comes home tonight. I thought it was tomorrow, so I am running around trying to make sure the place looks like mom and dad can survive without him.
