My leukemia's back.

Sometimes there just isn't words to say what you feel.

Heartsick to read about Blooie.

Or Rachel, Phil, the Good Egg.

Just a hard thread to read.

It hurts.

So if it's alright, I'm just going to pull my rocking chair up
on the porch here, close my eyes and think about this thread
for a minute.

I've read most of this thread since I've been back. Can't read it
all at once. Too sad. So I do it in bits and pieces. This isn't one
of those thread where I generally hang out and laugh, or tell some
dumb joke.

This is about real life, and real people. Some of the issues we
face.

And sometimes, I don't know what words to say. Certainly nothing
we all haven't heard a hundred times over.

Yes, I mention some of my Chicken friends by name when I pray.
Those of you that I remember. I'm terrible on names.

But as I said, I've read this post.

Look at it every day.

And I see these funny little words over by our names. Words like
Friend, Greeter, Spirit, Golden Feather, 5 year, 6 year. Almost
without exception, one or more of those words appear beside our
names.

What would our combined posts be? Certainly a big number.

And I would say that pretty well sums this group up...Friend, Greeter,
Spirit...

Works for me.

No, I don't have the right words to say tonight. Not to any of you.

But know that you're never far from my thoughts or my prayers.

So I'm just going to set here in this rocker Em gave me and think
about my friends tonight.

Maybe say a prayer for Diane, who's heart went Blooie.

Spook

Hey, Spook.

I'm with you on the 'hard.' Caring about people can hurt, and caring about people who are hurting is pretty much guaranteed to hurt. But we embrace the pain, hoping that our sharing the burden can help lighten the load, if only by letting the friend know that we care about them and their struggle.

It is rather ironic, isn't it, that it's Blooie's heart that is the cause of worry? I'd say that woman is all heart, and she is the heart and soul of her family. I imagine they are all at sixes and sevens tonight, not only because they love her, but because they depend on her giving heart to hold their lives together every day. I am praying that she is restored to the heart of her family soon, and that they can find ways to give back to her some of the help she has so freely and lovingly given to them.

Good morning Team.

I saw the news about Blooie late last night on another thread. Hard to think of her being down and her family without her constant support. Bunny, you said it so well...she is all heart. Guess that big heart just needs a little rest. Prayers going out to her and her family.

Spook, for someone that doesn't have the words to say, I think you say it all pretty well. So glad you're here with us

Good morning! Very glad to hear they were able to stint her instead of bypass. Praying that she heals quickly. Blooie, take care of yourself.:D. Make Ken take care of you too!

Prayers for everyone this morning no matter where we are in our lives. Have a good day friends.

Yep. I hope she gets some rest this weekend and doesn't fuss too much about what she "should" be doing.

Oh my goodness, Blooie......

I'm also thinking since they're just holding off until Monday it's not too bad. And yep, that's coming from me with my current frustrations about doctors

. I hope she's getting some rest and her family is not letting her stress more than necessary. Sometimes the caregiver just needs to be taken care of, right? Time for the lady to focus on herself for a while.
