My leukemia's back.

I'm concerned about my reputation or I'd steal a popsicle and some flowers for ya, but will send this instead.

Glad that you are getti8ng some relief, and the IV is a temporary deal.

@sourland , you just go ahead and take as many flowers as you want!

That's amazing @sourland , your flowers look just like the ones I got for Rachel! You sure have good taste.

Well, you all send your beautiful flowers to Rachel. I, on the other hand, shall give her something extra special to wake up to!

I think from now until you get out of the hospital I'll send you a hummingbird a day! Flying Flowers, just for you!

Morning Rachel

I cannot tell a lie...I picked all your flowers to put in a vase for Rachel's room. Then @sourland re-gifted them. (Wish I would have gone with a hummingbird instead of flowers, sourland would have had a harder time swiping a hummingbird). LOL

Really there is no flower picking here. Everything is covered in so many layers of snow, ice, snow, ice

Rachel, glad you have a nice view.

Ya'all are wonderful! After I posted, those steroids really kicked in and I was feeling oh so much better. It was a decently good day. I was sleeping well until about 2am and woke up to a light nosebleed. Ick. Called the nurse to see if I'm getting platelets today, yes I am. Fast'd be better than slow, then. He pre-medded me, the called blood bank only to find out my matched platelets had expired. Not wanting to waste those pre meds he went ahead and hung my blood transfusion. So, that's why I'm awake at this hour, watching the new season of House of Cards and checking on you folks. Beautiful flowers and hummingbirds, how lovely!

Jan, funny about that ice cream bar. I was wanting not dairy a night or so ago and asked for a Popscicle, preferably orange or red. The nurse brought back a 50/50 bar. I almost cried cause I love those things but just couldn't swallow it, too thick and creamy. Oh well, now I know they have them for when I'm feeling better. I so agree on the swallow thing, we take it for granted. I've got this little oral suction thing next to me all the time. Gross, but that's okay if it saves me the pain of trying to swallow.

Lz.....tacos, pizza, nachos...your honey and I must think alike. Pretty much my top favorite foods, yum!

This presents a challenge. Working as a nurse all these years there are specific things sick people do, things I've told my family I'll never do cause I'm not really sick. Things like moaning every time you move, shuffling or dragging feet, using a bedside commode, and last but not least......eating propped up in that darn hospital bed!!!!!
So, here's breakfast in bed this morning.....
