My leukemia's back.

This presents a challenge. Working as a nurse all these years there are specific things sick people do, things I've told my family I'll never do cause I'm not really sick. Things like moaning every time you move, shuffling or dragging feet, using a bedside commode, and last but not least......eating propped up in that darn hospital bed!!!!!
Well, it looks like you are least getting some apple juice! My daughter is a CNA in a care center. She's told me repeatedly that if my time ever comes to be a resident there, she's quitting her job. Says I would be impossible to take care of because I'm such a bad patient!

Here's your morning Flying Flower, Rachel.

Rachel..

I have been so frustrated...the internet and telephone connection has been intermittent over the last few days..I have been praying morning, noon and night for your wellbeing...so much so that I think God feels as though he is being hen pecked at my nagging at him...

I have been singing many hymns...one of which I will now relate to you...it is one that I sang in School and Church...it is

Lord; Behold Us With Thy Blessing...if you do not know this hymn...maybe look up the words...it means so much to me in my prayers for you...

You are such an amazing person...I have nothing but admiration for you...hoping that you are not suffering too much with the awful side effects of your life saving treatment...

Love

Suzie

Good morning Rachel, hope you have a great day today!

I'm nailing a picture to your wall so someone (@sourland maybe?) doesn't run off with it.

good morning all....did you remember Daylight Savings Time?

Day T+9 and doing well. Still not taking anything orally cause of the sores, but getting decent pain management and no other serious complications. all my peach fuzz hair is falling out, so I'll have to re-grow hair yet one moer time. Hopefully the last time!

One nice thing, my Mom reminded me yesterday the floor has a treadmill in the family/activity room. This will be wonderful for getting my exercise each day. My IV pole has two separate pumps, and a total of 6 channels on those pumps, and the whole thing is unweildy and needs some serious power steering. The halls here are pretty wide, but sometimes distraught family members aren't the most considerate and take up the entire hall. I had to ask the same family to please make a hole 3 times yesterday as I lapped the halls. I'm sorry your world just got turned upside down, but please keep some awareness and be polite. The treadmill will eleminate that, and I can take my Kindle and maybe read, or listen to music. Me, actually eager to go exercise---who'd a thunk?

I remembered, Rachel - but just barely. The treadmill sounds like a smashing idea, um, as long as somebody else is doing it and not me! Hair will grow back - little Ashley is lamenting the loss of hers at the moment. Then yesterday she asked her mom if her new hair would be like her sister Addison', "Brown and shiny!"

Here's your morning hummingbird:
