My leukemia's back.

Phil, sounds like you need to be a snowbird--south in the winter, north in the summer. My folks did that for a few years and absolutely loved it.

Been on the phone with Mom today. Dad had a really rough night, had hospice and even the EMS came out even though he's a no-transport. She said he had enough Ativan and morphine on board to snow a horse but was still in distress. Finally went to sleep after a few hours. She's so ragged. I hate being this far away. My sister who is local to them isn't medical at all (she's our legal person) and doesn't really know what to do. I"m praying, but I'm not sure what I'm praying for---healing or an easy trip Home.

Hope everyone is feeling better--too many folks here with this sick

. My lungs are about the same.

Phil, did you ever have to have a skin test for TB? Being in healthcare, we usually get one every few years, or when you start a new job. I'm not sure if I can get one or not, cause it's supposed to trigger an immune response if you've been exposed before. I never had a positive before the transplant, but did my donor? I'm not sure if that's something they screen for. I've got an e-mail out to my team, just wondering if it ever came up for you. I'm also supposed to start getting my baby shots again in a month or so. Joy.

A friend and I had swapped eggs--I gave her Marans and she gave me ducklings. All my ducklings look clear, and she only got one Marans chick. Not sure what happened there? I've got Marans eggs in the incubator, not sure if I have a good enough light to candle them or not.

LG--I'm glad the eggs are looking good. I have a whole tub full of little Camo Eggers, all different colors. I'm impatient for them to feather out!

My lungs are a little better now..I just took myself off the Prednisone to early. That warm mild February tricked me..... We dropped down to just above zero last night. Messed me up.
I tulip have my scar from the first T.B. test.... But no they never did any after my transplant.... Not sure if I could get one of not.
I started with a dozen duck eggs and only have six actually growing.... Four clears and two quitters....

Bet the custard was yummy! Got any left to go with coffee?

Oops, Got you mixed up with everyone else doing shipped eggs these days. You will probably have better luck with your duck eggs when it warms up (if it ever warms up there) and their laying cycles are more steady. Hope you get some to hatch!
