Exciting day for sure....but you know what we all tell each other on here - do NOT overdo anything! (Still, those things we force our way through sometimes feel better than the ache we get from doing the forcing, don't they?)

Jenny, Kendra and I are leaving for Denver the end of this month. Kendra's surgery is scheduled for June 1st. I'm actually more nervous than I was when we were expecting Kendra - first of all I hate driving in Denver. Jenny and I were there for 6 weeks before Kendra was born, then another week while Jenny was back in ICU, and all I could do was get from the Ronald McDonald House to the hospitals in one direction and Target in the other. And this surgery will be so hard on that little girl - no way to explain things or make it easier for her. I hate this! It stinks!!

Instinct...I was about to pm you ...I knew you were not well...spooky eh?

I pray for you and your family every night...as I do for everyone and their families who are suffering...I prefer to pray at night...it is a peaceful and thought provoking time for me as like you and NFC...I do not sleep much...it is a time for reflection and thanks for having found you all here...!

What are the funny papers ?????

The comics?.... It's just an old expression.... Glad you could deal with your animals today.....:hugs

How about when we got TV, and I have no idea why we were the first in our little town unless Dad won big at cards? All the neighbor kids were there watching those 3 channels, and I was up on the Sourlands doing stuff. Nothing has changed - still don't watch much TV, but now BYC

I'm a big TV guy.... But mostly in the winter... You ever see where I live....:lau

I remember black and white.  It was a big deal to watch some of those old programs.  Bonanza, Rifle Man, all of the old westerns!  Even Lassie was a big deal when I was a little kid!

I remember when we first got color TV..... When I was a teen-ager we were the first to get HBO... It was only on at night and we had this weird antenna on our roof.... Yeah it was grainy too..... But no commercials
