Ditto what Blooie says about doing too much. Easy there, Girl! I hear you on the injections. Sometimes, my hubby will just look at me and say, "Just for one day, I'd like to take a vacation from being a diabetic." The day in and day out maintenance can be overwhelming at times.Not weird at all! I remember the same thing when I was giving myself Lovonox injections! And Ken has needed monthly B12 injections for his pernicious anemia for 8 years now and he still won't do it himself. There's just something about looking at that needle day after day and suddenly thinking, "I don't want to do this!" Then you go ahead and get it over with, and don't have another problem for awhile.
Happy that you enjoyed your family visit, but worry when you overdo.
