I feel like I'm at roll call or something. But being West coast, I'm always a bit late....except for Diva. She's always up
Morning all.
I have a mountain of mail and paperwork I need to tackle. I think I'm going to search Netflix and put on a movie and settle down with it. It will feel so much better to have it done!
Wait, what, no party today??? Well...guess I'll have to eat the whole plate!
Been thinking about you all as I drive... caught up reading all the posts. Breath easier and stay warm! I'll bring a new plate tomorrow after I eat these and the leftover strawberry cake from dd's birthday Sun.
I think I have a box of that brownie mix in the pantry, but honestly I've not been that impressed with them. Yours look amazing, though....how long do you bake them? I must be overdoing mine.
Tried going to bed but couldn't quit coughing...not fair to Honey. Ice cream sure sounds good, but I don't want to leave the house. if I stuck brownies in the oven, Locusts would come crawling out of their caves and it would be almost midnight...not a good idea. I'll keep telling myself that lol.
Ice cream on top of brownies is even better. I tried that brand of brownies & their cookies and didn't think all that much of them. I usually get Pillsbury because my son likes their
Chocolate-cheesecake brownie but, only one store has it and never on sale, so for me I get Betty Crocker or something on sale. I think my oven badly needs calibration. The last couple years the brownies are burnt around the sides and still wet in the middle. It used to be a good oven. That's why I make cupcakes instead of cake - better chance for them to bake evenly I think.
Believe it or not, yes, I do undercook them as overdoing it seems to make them hard. My son also adds a bit of dark molasses sometimes to keep them more moist and add flavor. I used to make from scratch but now have changed to only the mix. LOL
. Turn you oven down maybe 10 degrees??
Be back later got to run to my jobs...
