My leukemia's back.

Everyone who have found their way back "home" can I ask for you to join me in prayer? Our northwoods is getting hit very hard right now by heavy storms and a rain wrapped tornado wreaking havoc to our southwest and is supposed to be heading in our direction but since it has now disappeared into the rain so they are not quite sure where it's at now so they cannot project it's exact path. I would like prayer for all in the path, including the animals. We've already seen pics of one farm that's been just devastated.

ETA; they are now showing a small lake town, including a mobile home park, has taken a direct hit.

power's blinking, so be back soon. love and prayers for you all.

Of course! The prayer train here is always loaded and ready to go!
Good morning Blooie!!!
Thank you!!! :hugs We're still here!:frow
It was a long afternoon and a longer night but our heavy woods to the west and north of the house did their job once more. We've never heard the wind howl thru the treetops quite like that before in such a sustained way but it mostly stayed above us thanks to our thick, unlogged acreage. The reports are still coming in as to property damage and people hurt/killed but so far it's looking like it could have been a lot worse, tho I doubt that is the thoughts of those who lost their homes and loved ones. So many injured I believe was because we just don't get super cell storms up here like they get in Oklahoma so people just weren't prepared.
Tho we are supposed to have more storms later today they are not expected to be nearly as severe. Just high winds and lots of rain. BUT this morning the sun is shining and my feathered girls are in heaven running from one spot to another gobbling up all those yummy worms that were washed out of the ground by the rain.

I thank the Lord for our protection but please keep those not as fortunate in your prayers today.

Yep. On all of the above. I can't donate anymore either but what I do do is whenever I come across a blood drive, I stop and thank the donors because if it were not for them I would not be here. When first dxd, I had zero healthy white cells and required two transfusions before they would let me leave quarantine.
I also love sitting next to hubby outside and watch all the "critters" go after him instead of me. He is not amused by my entertainment. :lau

More??? You have no idea what life you may have saved, could even have been mine. If it were not for anonymous blood donors I may not be here today. I was in such poor shape when I was dxd with CML I was in such poor shape they would not allow me out of quarantine until after two transfusions, so, THANK YOU! :hugs

Just to clarify, I don't do it for people to pat me on the back (as nice as it is when they do ) but because I view it as something of a civic duty. You do it if you can because it's the right thing to do as a decent human who cares about other humans. Scared of needles? Well, you'll get over that. And, there are cookies.
