My leukemia's back.

@donrae , your photos came up just fine. Fun seeing your dog and the rose is beautiful.

@Blooie , how cool to see a Blue Grouse that close. Nice photos!

Something like T-41 days. I bought a dry erase board so we can actually keep track.

My turn for a few pics..

Let's see if that worked, still new to the tablet....

Flowers are blooming at home.....
Wow...flowers and one very happy dog! Contentment is yours Rachel...! Hope your weekend was magical...seems to have been by the photographs! Thanks for sharing...continued prayers for you, your healthy future and happiness with all that we can offer to such an amazing personality YOU!

on the weekend!

We had such a good time. Went to the new Cabela's in Portland. They have incredible taxidermy mounts there, and some nice aquariums. No .22 ammo, but we didn't really expect any. I was close enough to the 60 day mark we went out to dinner. Just being out of the motel for a meal was such a treat!

So, my guys are safely back home and I'm taking a nice rest. Made a pan of chicken enchiladas for dinner, kind of weird that no one else is going to eat them if I don't.

Good morning Rachel!

Sounds like you had a full weekend and a really good time. I've been to Cabela's in Kansas City a few times and that's always a treat...sort of like combining a shopping trip with a visit to the zoo, lol.

Glad to hear you had a fun weekend!

Chicken enchiladas!!!

At my house we all save the last 'whatever' for: the husband, the dad, the son, the wife, the mom, and I keep saying, "Somebody better eat this before it goes bad!"
And a dog shows up without fail.
Then they both wail,"But I was going to eat that!"

I am glad you had a good weekend. Cabelas sounds like a neat store. I will get their catalogs and drool over the fly fishing things.(It is like a jewelry store of fishing stuff)
I do not fly fish, but if I lived else where, I would.
I do practice my surf casting in the back field. I can not always get the weights over the breakers. We can get some serious sand bars here.
Low tide is super fun, but it makes fishing a challenge.

Why no .22 shells?
Is it a Oregon thing or they were just out?

Sounds like a terrific weekend!

I used to go ice fishing when I was a kid. With all that ocean practically on our doorstep, you'd think someone in this house would fish, but nobody does. Go figure.

.22 ammo has been in scarce supply here for quite a while. It's our families little treasure hunt, to check every sporting goods store for some.

So, tomorrow is T-60, which means it's time for a bone marrow biopsy. I get knocked out for it, and the NP doing it is Carol, my favorite who has done them on me before so I'm not really concerned. It's just going to be the first time Don isn't there, and that feels weird. I'm not going to have my Mom stay for the procedure, I just don't think that's something she needs to see. So, prayers please for an uneventful procedure, and more importantly clean results, with NO more leukemia!!!!
