My leukemia's back.

Funny, because when I tried to picture Sour and the Princess, I couldn't imagine her a step behind. The image I kept seeing was more like Sour on the lead!

Thanks for the song guys! Made my day! Only 2 spots of poison ivy on one leg, not too bad. Intermittent burning, then no pain for a while. When I get a spot, it takes weeks to clear up.

We had our first frost last night. Settled on the grass, not much damage in the garden. I need to get in and harvest potatoes and garlic. Corn, what's left can go to the chickens. They can go in and glean after one more tomato picking. They'll be SO HAPPY!

Trust me, that's not how it goes. She continually drags me out of my comfort zone.
You feel aggravated because your back hurts. Take a deep breath, a couple Ibuprofen and a heating pad.
My husband gets aggravated easily too when he hurts and can't do what he wants to do.

That is part of it, but she should have learned after 51 + years, "Don't poke the injured bear/troll." Just let him hang out in his dark, dank cave beneath the bridge. Have I ever shared that her other nickname is 'The Bulldog"?

well, ...when she tosses in a hunk of moldy bread and slams the door behind her, remember that is what you wanted.
If she stuck it out for 51 plus years, then she is a trooper.
she has not strangled you in your sleep or sold your dogs on ebay.

Go tell her you are sorry. even if you aren't.
Better to have a good friend in your corner when you have a bad back than a bad friend when you feel good.

She's a trooper

? What about me? Just go to my interview and look at our pictures. Me worn out, drawn out, and old looking with no hair. Then look at her - still 'hot'. Now tell me who has had the easier part of this deal.

We love ya @sourland (and so does Princess Bulldog)!

Rachel, what a nice picture your moment at the light painted.

Eggsy, what's the latest on the college guy?

Lazy, we still have sweet potatoes to dig up in our garden. We've been able to get 2 small harvests done, but then it rains, we wait for it to dry out, and then it rains, etc. etc. etc. We were able to have 2 baked ones for dinner the other night and they were so good. Your chicken children are going to love you for the garden leftovers!

My very lovely, and very affectionate cat... the one who loves to curl up in my lap when I'm on BYC... Yeah, him... he can't just curl up in my lap, but he has to scrunch around until his back feet are tucked in my hand, and one paw is resting possessively on my fore arm... You get the picture???  Well, it seems that before he came to visit me this afternoon, he took a stroll through the poison ivy.  I have several spots on my right leg, right wrist and between several fingers.  Hoping I caught it soon enough with tea tree oil.
try wetting the affected areas and put washing powder on the wet areas you can feel it heat up and draw the poison out you may have to do it several times

I pray the peace that passes all understanding and God's word say by His stripes you are healed in Jesus name !!!!!!
