Exercise: My biggest problem/fear with the increased histamine load is that I get exercised induced anaphylaxis. I also get it if something hits my funny bone just right and I laugh real hard. It stinks. I just have to wait it out.
I have the elliptical all dusted off and waiting on me. and several play lists ready and waiting.
I have to get my husband's okay first. I am the one with the problem, but the parts of this condition that I ignore -he is paying attention to. He is like one of those medical alert dogs, but he also puts out the garbage and does dishes.
He can tell me when I am not feeling well before I realize it. I get tunnel vision when I am on a task and I just want to get my work done, then I go beyond the point of easy return.
He really is a good guy.
Anaphylaxis Bad. Don't go there.
Honey and I have evolved into that sort of relationship since I was diagnosed also. yep, I'm the sick one, but he's the one that has to deal with the fallout if I don't pay attention or overestimate what I can do. So I've learned to listen to him.....most of the time. I'm a slow learner
. We're pretty blessed to have men like this in our lives.
Finished with the garage yesterday. Had planned to work on the office building today, but he just got called into work. For truth, I'm a little glad. I could use a day off! I've got some paperwork type stuff and phone calls that have been needing to get done, that will be today.
HB, I may not be as bad as you with the alcohol, but I'm sure a lightweight. I remember back when Honey and I were dating, we went camping and he brought some booze, thinking it was going to make the night friendlier. I'd never drank before, at all....I wound up walking around and around the campfire, just staring into the flames, mesmerized. And with a definite "don't touch me" attitude....so much for the friendly
. Yeah, we don't drink much around here.......
