Oh yeah, that's what that is. I remember that stuff from growing up in KS. Haven't seen much of the stuff since moving to FL, weird huh?

Jan, we have that same stock tank, it was my boys' swimming pool for years and years

. It was out in the garden and I could keep an eye on them, they could cool off while I worked. We called it our Redneck pool. The dogs never liked it......

We have one at the house that my husband put a deck around and it has a pool filter and heater. We'd crank it up and have a huge hot tub.
It needs to be repainted -and get all the frogs out of it -before we can do that again.
It really has been the difference between heat stroke and survival at times.
If we ever build a house, I am going to get one of those long deep oblong ones for a bath tub.
Tubs should be deep and long enough to soak the entire sore body at once.
