My leukemia's back.

Good morning Rachel and Team Rachel. Today we're heading up to Billings for some chicken shopping. Need a couple more pieces of white vinyl lattice for the run We put an addition on it this summer and never did get around to finishing the fencing in front, and we have to drape lattice over the run itself in order to prep for getting it covered. We have a strong cold front moving in on Sunday. Temps are supposed to drop like the proverbial rock - down into the 30s with extreme winds on top of it. We could see sustained winds of 30, with gusts to 50 from late Sunday afternoon until late Monday night. Goodie. I ordered my clear tarp but it won't be here for a few days yet. So may as well get the other materials we'll need and get the prep work done so all we have to do is wrestle with the tarp and we should be ready for winter. Thank the Good Lord that there's no precip expected with this cold front.

Yikes, is it time for that kind of weather already?

Have a good drive today Blooie!

I got a friend coming out...have him my old tool box as I brought my work one home with me when I retired. Going to take a few people to move it. Then I'm smoking a big old pork butt today and bon fire time...a few cocktails are in order...

A bon fire, a smoked pig...all sounds good. I'll have a margarita please!

Should I make it a double it might be a bit chilly for a Floridian....
400

Cheers

Well, I think I need to move my son's turtle to the front porch so I will remember to feed it. If I have any fingers left after that, it is time to remove the frogs from the cow trough and get it in shape for winter hot tubbing.

I can't decide if that sounds like a country thing or a Floridian thing but I'm smiling while reading it because it makes sense to me!

What kind of turtle is this? Gonna eat the frogs, or give them to the chickens? I have a couple of little sink holes in my front lawn. They have about 6 frogs each!

I know, I know. But nobody told me I was in charge of the turtle!

I hope the whole team had a great day! It was gorgeous here - 90 degrees up in Billings and still 88 when we got home. But that's gonna change fast when that cold front comes sweeping in tomorrow.

Rachel, what did you decide to do about the swap meet? Were you strong? Did you cave? Inquiring minds.............

You all are so silly. I decided to wait for my husband to help me move the turtle. I need him to distract it while I grab it from behind.
It was this big when it was given to my son, (Not our picture) and it is the size of a oblong soft ball now.
