My leukemia's back.

Well, Jenny felt up to taking the kids to the gym tonight, so I got to put away the junk we bought, brew up a cup of warm tea, catch up on some posts I missed while we were gone, and it's time for me to keep my promise about Ken's costume.

My brother Ron worked at a meat packing plant in Sioux Falls, the identity of which will remain anonymous but the initials were John Morrells. Ron provided Ken with a white smock, complete with a hood. He pulled a large pair of my dad's white long johns over his jeans, and white socks over his shoes. He filled another white sock with stuffing and pinned it on for a tail. So there he was head to toe white - except for a huge pair of green safety goggles. Around his neck was a carefully printed sign which said, "Proud Member, US Fallopian Swim Team". I leave it to you to figure out what he was.

My grand kids...I miss them it sucks living so far away.

I only got 4 trick or treaters...And they drove 3 miles to come to my house. I gave them each a bag of candy...now I still have 6 bags left...what to do with all that candy? Funny how it's candy I like :-).

Cute grandkids Phil...and another coming soon, that's exciting!

Growing up. we lived about 6 hours away from our grandparents (from Kansas to Iowa). We loved visiting them and did it as frequently as my parents could make it happen. My brother & I have some wonderful memories of those times with our grandparents. Heck, I know kids and grandparents who live in the same town and they never spend time together. Sometimes having to work for it, makes it more appreciated.

They come here more often than we go there...I love traverse city though....lots of artsy stuff there, foody stuff, famous people hang out down there...allot different than the woods.
We don't really have the money and we have animals so we can't go as often as we would like. My son prefers to come here and the grandkids love to come "up north".
My grandson (my son adopted mason because his real dad didn't want anything to do with him) said he likes my house because it's home made.
My son has talked about buying a second home on little lake so we would all have someplace on the lake to stay and hang out...that would be nice.
Today is my big day...18 years post BMT....yay!!!....see Rachel it just takes a fight..On a side note...especially for you that are really religious...My daughter Kacy was born 3 weeks after my diagnosis..I asked God one thing....please let me live long enough that my daughter would remember me....she's now 20....God owes me nothing....I got to go I'm crying....

I understand about the money and the animals Phil. You've been blessed with a loving family and time, precious time with them. Go have a good cry and come back happy.
