Turkey vultures give me the creeps

They are strange and homely but they do serve a purpose cleaning things up.

The only time they really bothered me was the day DH trapped a squirrel and we wound up with 3 of them in our yard.

Those things are huge up close, not to mention ugly...no, make that UGLY!

Just a few things to say

First and foremost...thank you all for your kind words, you all give me strength and hope that despite my reservations...this latest treatment will help with the pain and give me some better quality of life...

Secondly....a statement about my culinary skills

I know of people who have eaten my cooking and have gone on to lead relatively normal lives...

Thirdly...for Rachel...

I am over the moon that you managed to saddle up and bridle your horse...that is a huge milestone...mind over matter! I did the same one day when I was feeling down and in a lot of pain...I tacked up Kiola and rode her...my Husband was horrified but managed to take a couple of photographs...I rode off into the sunset...YOU will do this too...take your time...and enjoy each and every forward step you take...
