My leukemia's back.

My thermometer had one single little number on it this morning
when I looked. And there is snow on the ground.

Can think of no reason to go outside and look around.

Had to go out and give the dogs their soup this morning, then I went to the dentist office to inject some humor into their day. Then I went to the new Chik Fil A - forget about it - not a parking place to be found. Then to the beagle club to fill the bird feeder that is there. I'll feed the dogs in about an hour, and then I am hanging it up for this miserable day. I don't mind the cold, but I HATE the wind.

Hey, Spook! Welcome to Team Rachel!

Hello Debby in Florida.

You don't happen to have any brownies, do you?

I looked in my oven....that's my wife always got them from.
Not none there today. I'm going to have a problem...

My daughter and I tried cooking dinner the other day. One where
we actually turned the stove on. It weren't as easy as my wife made
it look, That stove don't work for me.

It was awful !!!

Finally gave up and went to McDonalds.

Came home, took three hours to clean the kitchen. Probably have
to paint the wall where the fire was.

I did manage to figure out how the washing machine works. (I didn't
even know we HAD a laundry room.)

And ironing...well, when it warms up enough I'll just go to town and
buy me some new shirts.

Spook isn't having fun.

Sorry Spook, fresh out of brownies but I did make bread pudding this morning. Want me to airlift you some along with other emergency rations?

As far as laundry, you're doing good to get the clothes washed. Don't worry about ironing, it's not necessary. Only the people that make irons will tell you it's important. Wrinkles = character. I think that applies to faces and clothes both.

My stove has a problem - everything that comes off of it or out of it seems to vanish into Teenaged Mutant Ninja Tummies (I'll bet Rachel has that problem too). We haven't had soap suds flowing down the hall in a while - I think someone has finally figured out the washing machine. I am finally learning to delegate (though pulling the clothes out of the dryer and putting them away before they go onto the wrinkle cycle can be a good idea)

"Iron" = big brown burns on Spooks sheets.

Microwave....I can use a microwave.

Stove...may sell it and put another cabinet there. Keep more
cereal.

Spook, you could just store your cereal in the stove and not bother replacing it with a cupboard. Just remember, do not, repeat DO NOT, turn on the oven.

ALWAYS CHECK INSIDE THE OVEN WHEN YOU TURN IT ON!!!!!

My family will put the weirdest things in the oven. By now, it's just habit to open it and give a peek when I turn it on.

There's never brownies in mine either, Spook. Just pots and pans and sometimes leftover pizza. Once there was a flat of eggs. Once there was a 2liter of soda on it's side. One of the boys tried to hide bagels in there from his brothers. Maybe I should have my oven taken out, come to think of it!

Went to the Piggly Wiggly...we have a piggly wiggly now...Did you know
they make all kinds of cereal? Breakfast cereal...snack cereal...

Ran out of milk. Tried water. Not the same. Off to McDonalds again. New
rule : Keep milk. Make that keep FRESH milk.

*My daughter was trying to fix some fried potatoes. I watched her.
She was peeling taters with a butter knife.

We got a ways too go...
